5K Run Information

We know that an inclusive and diverse workforce can boost productivity, improve employee morale, and help contribute to social development for participating companies.  If you are ready to test yourself and run a 5K (3.1 miles), then sign up for the 5K Run Event!  The 5K Run will start shortly after the 5K Roll Event and before the 5K Walk Event.  Pace signs will line the starting corrals so runners will be able to line up with fellow participants looking to run a similar pace.

Who can participate in the Run Division?

Novice and experienced participants are all welcome.  Participants should be able to complete a mile in less than 15 minutes.  If your pace is slower than 15 minutes per mile, then you will probably be happier registering for the 5K Walk event.  Please note that EVERYONE participating in the event must register for the event.

What is not allowed in the Run Division?

Baby strollers, baby joggers, animals, skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, hover boards, or other vehicular apparatus are not allowed on the race course.  This is an insurance requirements and applies to the 5K Run and Roll as well.  Only participants registered for the 5K Roll can participate using a standard wheelchair, a racing push-rim chair, or a racing chariot.

Registered participants will get specific email communication in the weeks preceding the event with specific instructions and resources for race day.
